Please join us in congratulating our very own Dr. Rebecca Lybrand on receiving the Soil Science Society of America's Pedology Division Award for her contributions to the field of Pedology. As part of the award, Dr. Lybrand has been invited to present her work in the "Advancing Pedology Colloquium" during the ASA-CSSA-SSSA International Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah (November 7-10, 2021). 

The SSSA Pedology Award Committee found that Dr. Lybrand's research contributions represent significant advances in the development of methods and techniques that open the door to the discovery of unknown and poorly understood mechanisms in soil, specifically at the nano- to microscale of study (Lybrand et al., Scientific Reports, 2019; Lybrand et al., ACS Earth and Space Chemistry, In Press).
