Fresno Series Landscape
Fresno Series Landscape	Little of the unreclaimed Fresno series landscape remains in California since the California aqueduct brought water to the western and southern parts of the San Joaquin valley. This picture shows the white salt-affected areas where nothing grew prior to reclamation. In spots where the salt accumulation is less, salt tolerant grasses grow. In the far background the oil well is an indication of another kind of wealth in this region.
