How to join the SA&FS major

The SA&FS major opened to enrollment for freshmen in Fall 2012 for a total enrollment of 30 students! At the time, there were a few students already at Davis who were able to switch into the major before they graduated. Total enrollment at that point was 5 students. The first SA&FS graduating class graduated in Spring 2016. Since then, enrollment has plateaued around 90-110 students and we hope to keep it that way!
