To subscribe to a list you can send mail to listproc@ucdavis.edu. The body of the message should consist of a single line formatted as follows: sub <list name> <first name> <last name>

Example: if Joe User wanted to subscribe to the list called hydseminar he would send this message to listproc@ucdavis.edu: sub hydseminar Joe User
