General Safety
Ergonomics:
UC Davis has implemented a three tier system to provide
help in setting up an ergonomically sound work station:
- Tier 1 - Individual self training using resources on Safety Services website (including Safety Net #17), taking a Safety Services class on ergonomics, or reviewing a CD titled: "Ergonomics – Setting up your Computer Workstation” that you can check out. Contact Dianne Louie to check out a copy of the CD.
- Tier 2 - Consultation with a trained supervisor in LAWR.
- Tier 3 - If you still have problems setting up a suitable work station, notify your supervisor and we will get an ergonomics expert from Safety Services to consult with you.
