| This is the landscape for the Rendzina Profile found in Israel. It shows the white chalk parent material, the shallow soil and sparse vegetation under which the soil may have formed. This landscape has been under the influence of humans for as much as 6000 years and it is not clear what the original vegetation was during the time the soil formed. |
