Soil Science 100 Fall 2002
Grading Policy Homework All
homework assignments are due in class on the due date. Please put your six
digit ID, laboratory section and homework number on all assignments.
Assignments may be submitted up until 5 PM of the due date without
penalty. Assignments submitted within
48 hours after the due date will be assessed a 50% penalty and assignments
submitted 48 hours after the due date will not be accepted. Exceptions will be made to this policy only if special arrangements for late
submission of assignments are made in advance with the instructor. Circumstances beyond your control will be
considered if assignments are submitted late without prior arrangement, but
you must discuss these circumstances with the instructor. Homework
may be redone and resubmitted within three days after the graded
homework has been returned to you. To
resubmit a homework assignment, staple the new work to the old. Only those questions answered incorrectly
need to be resubmitted. Homework submitted
late may not be redone and resubmitted. Laboratory Pre-labs
are due when you walk in the door to your laboratory section. Other laboratory work is due before you
leave your laboratory section. The
one exception is the laboratory report, which is due during your last
laboratory section approximately two weeks after you harvest your
plants. Late laboratory reports will not be accepted. Grading strategy Grading is not
